This one-mile non-competitive walk is held annually on the first Saturday of October to raise awarenessand much-needed funds for Breast and Ovarian Cancer patients residing in St. Lawrence, Jefferson, Lewis,and Franklin counties. Every dollar donated is used to assist a Breast or Ovarian Cancer patient’s financial needs, including housing, utilities, car payments, medical costs, prescription copays, travel, and more.Each person’s needs are evaluated on an individual basis, to assist them during their treatment and recovery.
