QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
- Do we accept donations other than the walk day?
The answer is YES. We could not continue to do what we do without the support of others holding events on our behalf and the private donations we receive throughout the year as well. We are so grateful for each and every one of you and your continued support of our walk, the events held to raise money for us, and your encouraging words to those fighting breast cancer.

- Want to do your own fundraising?
That is completely up to you! Chili cook-off, yard sale, bottle drive, chicken bar-b-q, door-to-door asks, jeans day at work, bake sale, if you can think of it and it's safe and legal, we encourage you to go for it! Ask your friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers to help support you in your efforts. Get creative, hold car washes, bake sales, walk pets, spring clean up, and hold a raffle. Anything you want to do that is safe and fun, we encourage.
- Can I form a team?
We encourage you to form a team and get your friends and family involved in your activities and community service. Gather your friends and family to form your team; pick your team name, and there you have it, your team is formed! Remember, this is important...Each team member who has their own pledge form with a minimum donation of $40 will receive a t-shirt. In order for the team to receive credit, as those funds go towards the team's total, the team name must be clearly listed on the pledge form.
- Does each team member need a signed pledge form?
Yes, we need each team member to sign a pledge form, as the release is listed on the pledge form. We also track the number of participants each year.
- Can I pre-register for the walk?
We are unable to accept pre-registered walkers at this time, with the exception being online registration. Walk Registration is from 8:15 am to 10:00 am the day of the walk. If you have registered online, you MUST bring your confirmation email, printed or on your phone or device.

- Can I bring my dog?
Absolutely, bring your dog only if they are up to date on their shots, they are friendly, on a leash, and you are able to maintain them on a leash. This is a family-friendly environment, and safety is important for all involved!
- How long is the walk?
The walk is approximately one mile long. If it rains, we walk! We walk in rain, snow, and sunshine. It's not about us but about those we are trying to assist together. If you do not have anyone to walk with, come out and walk with the crowd! Join in the fun, excitement, and joy of helping others.
- Are there awards?
Yes, we honor the team and individual who raises the most money and turns it in on the day of the walk. We also honor the individuals in the following categories: Oldest Survivor, Youngest registered walker, most pink, and most spirited.
